Precision cutter developed by Huygens Engineers

A robotic precision-cutter developed by Huygens Engineers has proven to cut plastic parts having hundreds of different geometries with the required production stability. High precision is achieved through automatic compensation of cutting location for changes in length caused by temperature variation. Operator friendliness is achieved by an ergonomic infeed and outfeed, intuitive & database driven controls, and automatic knife selection. This high-end development was made possible thanks to a thorough testing and validation approach.
