Successful FAT of a 15mt hoist construction

Huygens Engineers has designed and calculated according NEN-EN 13001 a collapsible 15mt hoist construction for one of our customers. All relevant components are checked on strength, deformation and buckling. Welding details and procedures are specified together with the lifting plan and folding and unfolding procedure.

During the FAT the hoist construction is loaded with a test load of 18.5mt and has passed the test. Measurements of deformations during the FAT where in good range of the calculations of Huygens Engineers.

In the meantime, the hoist construction is fully operational.
